Another update using the pictures from my phone. ha.

This summer we had a Rufty Summer Bucket List.  One of the things was "making black star sponges." Turns out that that actually meant strawberry Jello Jigglers. I only found this out after explaining to Brigham that I couldn't find any black sponges but I had a green one. Crazy boy.

We had our pool installed in May.  It has been great!  We swim almost every day.  I look forward to lots more memories being made here.

Aubree wants her picture taken all the time.  Especially when she is doing something awesome like hanging on the monkey bars.

Brigham likes for his picture to be taken with Cora.  He is so sweet to her and she loves him.  She smiles and laughs for him more than anyone else.

So this is when Cora's pooped bypassed her diaper and went straight to the floor.  She was rubbing her feet all in it for a while before I realized what was going on. So gross.

Another picture request by Aubree.  She was playing on the playground after feeding the ducks.

Fun with shaving cream!

Camping out of the rain. ha ha ha.  Aubree joined in on the second night of camping.  They slept on couch cushions since the wood is slightly more uncomfortable than the ground. ha ha

Aubree's face cracks me up every time I see this picture

Cora hates the Bumbo but she manages to deal with it for about 5 minutes a day.

This is the face we get when she gets busted doing something.  On this day it was because she was rubbing diaper cream all over her arms and belly.

Wiping the poop. ha ha ha

I came back in from getting the mail to a naked Brigham in a sink full of water.

Silly girl

Another day I came in from getting the mail to a fuchsia faced monster

Cora-Bleu's forst time in the pool. She hated it.

I took off these glass doors and spent 2 weeks scrubbing the soot off the bricks in the fireplace.  It looks so much better!  I didn't know these came off so easily.  I would have done it 18 months sooner!

This poor girl had pink eye, a scratched up face, and carpet burn on her mouth.  It was a rough weekend,

This sweet girl has her first 2 teeth! We didn't even realize she was teething.  She put my finger in her mouth yesterday and bit me. ha.  I was so surprised!  Brigham and Aubree were drooling like crazy starting at about 2 months old.  Cora-Bleu doesn't really drool at all.  On Wednesday she had both hands in her mouth all day.  I guess that was because she was teething.  I tried to get a picture with both hands in her mouth but she would pull them out every time I tried. She can roll from back to belly like a champ now.  She is grabbing at her toys and she is holding onto them.  Our next goal is to have her sitting up on her own.  We love this girl to pieces and Brigham and Aubree can't get enough of her.

I hate that I have been so terrible at blogging.  I really want to get into the habit of posting a quick blog each night.  Maybe I can blog instead of wasting time on Facebook when I pump before bed.  I really want better documentation of our sweet life!

Here is a compilation of Cora Bleu's stats from the last 4 months

April 8th
Height: 20.25 inches
Weight: 7 pounds 13 ounces

April 23rd
Height: 21.25 inches
Weight: 9 pounds 1 ounce

May 6th
Height: 22 inches
Weight: 9 pounds 14 ounces

June 5th
Height: 23 inches
Weight: 11 pounds

First smile: May 10th
First Roll Over from Back to Belly: July 6th--she has only done this once or twice since
First Roll Over from Belly to Back: July 30th--she does this quite often.  Sometimes she does it shortly after I put her in bed and then she can't get to sleep.  I have to go roll her back onto her belly. ha ha
First Laugh: July 24th

Cora is such a sweet baby.  She enjoys being held but also likes to sit in her chair and watch what is going on around her.  She really only cries when she is hungry or tired.  If we are on schedule for the day, she will take a 45 min-an hour nap around 9:30.  At 12 or so she will nap until 2.  Then at 4 she naps until 6.  She is in bed for the night around 7:30 or 8 and she sleeps all night.  I stopped getting up with her when she was 13 weeks old.  She slept all night for 2 nights in a row and I felt like she was ready to make it through the night every night.  It took her 3 weeks to consistently stop waking up once every night.  When she did wake up she would fuss or cry anywhere from a few seconds up to about 10 minutes.

We love her so much and we are all so happy she joined our family.
