Tomorrow is our 1 year anniversary!!! I can't believe it has already been a whole year. I got Mark a gift card for a 1 hour massage and I am going to make him a smorgasbord of a breakfast tomorrow. All if which he knows nothing about. We are having friends and family over tomorrow for a cookout. Mark got a smoker last weekend so last night we bought a pork shoulder and hopefully it will turn out good after cooking for 15 hours tomorrow. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so if that happens, well that won't be good since our food will be cooking on the smoker outside! We will just have to pray that the rain misses us! I want to get a big pergola for our patio and put a tin roof on it or something so that we can grill out even if it is raining. Today I worked at the salon. It was a quiet day. The phone rang 3 times. 2 of the calls were from the same client asking if we wanted anything from Starbucks. I enjoy working at the marketing place better. There I am training to be client services assistant supervisor. That may be interesting.
So, Mark has gone back to school this semester and I am glad. He is thinking of going to law school or going into the air force to be a chaplain. He was going to be a chaplain in the army but he blew out his knee and was medically discharged. Personally I'm hoping he chooses to be a lawyer. I'm not opposed to moving around but I want to be able to choose when and where and I'd rather be close to our families which mostly live in NC.

About Us

Well there isn't a whole lot say. Mark and I met at the singles branch when he got back from his mission in 2002. We had a lot of mutual friends but the 2 of us never really talked all that much. Then 2 years ago we began talking on MySpace of all things! So after talking back and forth through that we finally met up for a late dinner at IHOP on April 28th. The next night we went to dinner with his boss. The next time we hung out was 5 days later when we went to eat at IHOP, again. We saw each other every day after that.
We were then married on June 1, 2007. I came into our marriage with Reagan (our toy poodle). We got Eve (the doberman) on December 1st. I wasn't about Eve at all until recently when I have begun to like her more. This is mostly because she hasn't been pooping, peeing, and vomiting all over our home. It used to be a weekly occurrence.
There will be more to come. I need to spend time with Mark before we go to bed.
